December 6, 2013 - Gulf Shores, AL (GSA) — Christian Service Center is very proud and excited to announce that the legendary Brent Burns has agreed to provide entertainment for their annual Early Bird New Year’s Eve Bash.

This fun event will be from7-10 p.m. at the Erie Meyer Civic Center located at 1930 W. Second Street in Gulf Shores. As in years past, it will be “Bring Your Own Everything” which includes beverages (alcohol allowed), food and table decorations. A panel of judges will determine who wins for table decorations in the following categories; Most Original, Most Outrageous and Most Elegant.

Tickets are $20 per person in advance or $25 at the door. Reserved tables will be available when eight tickets are purchased together.

Brent Burns has won multiple awards from the Trop Rock Music Association. He won three awards in the first Trop Rock Music Awards in 2008, “Entertainer of the Year”, “CD of the Year” and a special WAVE award for his charitable work. Burns won CD and Song of the Year for “Don’t Come Knockin’ If The Tiki Hut’s Rockin’.”

Performing for the Christian Service Center is only one example of the many charitable events for which Brent donates his time.


“We are extremely happy to have Brent agree once again to perform for us this New Year’s Eve,” CSC President Linda Chappelle said. “What Brent does to give back to his community is something we at the Center appreciate as much as we appreciate his incredible talent.”
